Tour Gainesville guests are expected to obey all safety instructions, stay in the group approved area, cross in crosswalks, pass with care, and yield to pedestrians. We work hard to cultivate an enjoyable safe atmosphere for all of our guests as well as with our community neighbors and partners.
All tours begin by going over safety instructions and a practice tutorial in a controlled area. Tour Gainesville LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone it does not feel can safely operate the mini-pro or that engages in overly aggressive riding before during, or after the practice tutorial. Likewise, while everyone we have met so far is able to master riding, any guest that arrives on time, meets the above rider requirements, tries out the Segway experience and decides it is not for them before the actual touring begins will receive a full refund.
Helmets are not just a good idea, but required on all Segway Tours by Tour Gainesville. Knee pads and other protective equipment are available by asking your tour guide. Riders ride at their own risk, and must sign liability waivers prior to tour start.
Parking costs are the responsibility of the riders and more information can be found on the Tour Location page.
